Physics Ph.D. Alumnae/i with physics faculty

A new modern physics lab, located in Room 156 of the newly renovated Park Science Building, has been dedicated to Alfonso Albano, Marion C. Reilly Professor Emeritus of Physics. A reception was held on October 27, 2018 to formally honor Professor Albano. Many distinguished alumnae attended this event, which included former executive director of the Five College Consortium and former Bryn Mawr professor Neal Abraham (Ph.D. ’77), Bryn Mawr former trustee Patricia Mooney (M.A. '69, Ph.D. ’72), and Naomi Halas (M.A. '84, Ph.D. '86), Rice University’s Stanley C. Moore professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
