Seven Mawrters Chosen for Fulbright ETA Program

Four members of the Class of 2022, Anna West and Saskia Holman of the Class of 2021, and Frances Loeb M.S.S. '22 have been selected for the U.S. Fulbright Program's . They are listed below with the country where they are awarded to teach.

  • Emily Shein (Germany)
  • Gemma Van Nice (Germany)
  • Andreanna Papatheodorou (Argentina)
  • Saskia Holman (Senegal)
  • Frances Loeb (Colombia)

The English Teaching Assistant Program places Fulbright recipients in classrooms abroad to provide assistance to the local English teachers. ETAs help teach English language while serving as cultural ambassadors for the U.S. The age and academic level of the students varies by country, ranging from kindergarten to university level.

Samantha Berry ’22 received a Fulbright research grant to study at Radboud University in Nijmegen, Netherlands.
